Fun to watch: Check out this video on The New York Times. The four-minute piece features the Times' Frugal Traveler interviewing some local characters at some of the best places to take out-of-town visitors.I first saw this referenced on Nashville Scene's Pith in the Wind.

I thought it was strange how the Times reporter said the Ryman used to host the Opry but was now "just a landmark." Did he not see the performance calendar in the lobby? Ted Nugent is playing this weekend, for Pete's sake.
