More on Bellevue mall
The City Paper today reported on Bellevue Center, in advance of tonight's community meeting to discuss the under-performing mall. (For meeting details, visit The Charlotte Parker's calendar.) Also, on Sunday, The Tennessean ran a column on Bellevue Center.

The Bellevue mall just makes me sad. Here's my [admittedly amateur] take:It was built 10 years too early. And it started declining therefore right when people started moving out there. And now it just has a bad rap.????I remember driving out there all the time when I was at Vanderbilt, because it had unique stores [this was before Green Hills Mall was a real mall, to truly date myself]. At any rate, you'd think the demographics would now be working in Bellevue's favor. Maybe it just needs a great marketing and business plan???
